and all is well,
God was faithful,
I can tell.
We walked with giants
of the faith,
and felt His presence
in this exotic space.

Halfway across the planet to deliver food,
a gift to orphans who understood.
Delivery people come once or twice.
The Source of it is Jesus Christ.
In the garden near Karen
Where the full moon arose
Over banana trees and palm leaves
Departing there was difficult to go.
We ate with locals despite advice
And never fell ill on beans and rice.
Although I confess to being a bit on edge,
At Dulles airport after burgers and fries.
The plane has landed
safely down from the air.
It’s good to be home,
But we felt His presence over there.
